As a master photographer of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography, Joseph Koprek brings to his work much more than the naked eye can see. Joseph’s ability to combine his artistic style with personal dynamics has become his signature. His images create such a statement that one’s eyes are drawn instantly to the focal point: emotion.
A wedding is an event where the emotional foundations can produce dynamic masterpieces. To accomplish these, a couple requires someone who not only understands the feelings, but who can capture the essence of the day.
Joseph’s work encompasses all that he learns from the couple during the first interview. He skillfully combines their individual personalities with his knowledge of the lens, light and camera. Joseph thus begins to shape images of the couple, working with them to ensure that the end product is a sensitive and accurate image of them, not just a pretty picture.
Working in a most unobtrusive manner is the secret which enables him to capture moments showing the wedding day in its true light. Joseph is the sole photographer within his company, therefore his clients enjoy a wonderfully personal experience, from their first meeting, through to the collection of their ‘art-books’ - style albums.
Joseph’s work has garnered many awards over the years, and he has recently been recognised at the 2007 Australian Professional Photography Awards, achieving his master status.
