Carol Ross of Simply Stunning is one of Melbourne’s most highly respected wedding and portrait photographers. Heading her small team from their Malvern studio, she produces images that surpass expectations capturing real images of real people experiencing real emotions.
Hailing from England, she has been behind the lens for over 20 years, and still feels it is the best job in the world. Her candid and natural style reflects her experience in photographing in any situation and any condition. Being a Master Photographer of the AIPP, Carol sets high standards in her industry.
Her philosophy, and that of the studio, is simply to listen to every client’s needs and exceed their expectations. “It still gives me a thrill to see the smile on a bride’s face or a tear in their eye when they see their images. A photograph has the power to instantly re-ignite the memories of the day.”

Carol’s easygoing and friendly nature is what produces such candid and real images. “Shooting the day in a predominantly reportage style, we allow the bride and groom and their guests to relax and enjoy the day as it unfolds. It’s a wonderful privilege to be given these little glimpses into people’s private lives. Next we add a few of our famous romantic shots and we have the completed story.”
