Formerly known as the event space Atlantic, MAIÀ is the Arabic word for water.
From its humble beginnings over a decade ago at South Wharf, Atlantic the event space has metamorphed into MAIÀ, truly reflecting the waterside location.
MAIÀ is a gentle union of the modern and the historic. Its industrial look and feel is balanced by a mix of raw and sophisticated materials, making it a chic and edgy space and the perfect environment for your wedding.
MAIÀ’s design features include a shipping crate inspired bar, original loading doors and hand etched wharf like wooden floorboards paying homage to its absolute waterfront location.
MAIÀ has a light, earthy feel complemented by a colour palette of beige, tan and black.
On the mezzanine, MAIÀ’s own private bridal suite provides a comfortable retreat for the bridal party and is the perfect starting point for a grand entrance. MAIÀ makes the most of the natural light as well as indoor and outdoor spaces. It accommodates 312 people for a sit-down dinner and has flexible floor plans and configurations. The cuisine is a renowned menu described as classical Asian and European, with a modern Mediterranean feel.
