Peninsula is Melbourne’s most glamorous and avant-garde waterfront event space. From the moment you enter, you’ll be overwhelmed by its sheer size. Its design was inspired by London’s iconic Tate Modern Museum and features nine metre high cathedral ceilings, exposed trusses and the original loading doors of the shed flanked by huge floor to ceiling windows looking onto the serene New Quay Marina. Peninsula boasts a large outdoor area perfect for enjoying pre-drinks overlooking the water.
The most prominent feature of the room is the breathtaking 66m chandelier which streaks down the length of the room, providing a focal point in the space and a dazzling backdrop for photographs.
This spectacular venue is one of the largest in Victoria and it is perfect for the larger wedding. The 1650 sqm area of Peninsula can be partitioned into two sound-proof self contained spaces for smaller weddings and features bridal suites at each end of the venue as well as a 20 person dressing room that can accommodate a large bridal party.
Great attention to detail has been placed in the culinary experience, with a large, diverse and delectable range of menu options. Peninsula offers a refined, modern Australian menu including an extensive array of plated dishes from traditional style through to more exotic creations designed by the Atlantic Group [v]’s Executive Chef.
